We went back to West Virginia this weekend for a very quick trip!  We left at 3pm on Thursday and drove the 11 hours to WV and were there Friday and left Saturday - drove through the night and made it back to Chatham at 4:30am on Sunday morning!  Sheesh…it was a lot of driving, but it was worth it!  Ashley, West’s little sister, had a beautiful wedding and Andrew enjoyed playing with his cousins, Nikki and Karlee.  He even got to spend the night at their house and play with them all day!  He was so excited and did remarkably well with the trip despite being off schedule and around different people.  He did really well in the car.  He slept the majority of the way back during the night (which is why we decided to drive straight through).  When he was awake - he looked at books and danced to the radio!  It was a really fun trip!  Tiring….but fun! 

We got back and went with Cindy, Nate, and Hannah to a Springfield Sliders game.  It is a local team and it was a beautiful night!  The babies liked thieir first baseball game.  Andrew was a little fidgety, but he had been in the car so much this weekend - it was hard to make him sit still in one place for too long. 

The weather was awful last week - it was so hot and humid, but this week it has been a lot better and looks like the next couple of days should be really nice!  Andrew and I spent most of the morning outside playing and running around.  He just loves being outdoors!  He especially likes the new summer treat of popsicles (or “Pop Pops”) as Andrew refers to them!  It is always a special treat that I can use to “bribe” him to come inside from playing!    You gotta do what you gotta do!
